2016 WALKS

Here is a full listing of our adventures in 2016. It was a good year in 2015 with us all completing the Bowland Fells challenge.

No specific challenges have been set, but that was the case last year until we did our first walk in the Forest of Bowland! As a result of this the Lake District very much took a back seat, and the expected progress with the Birketts and Wainwrights for Little Eric did not materialise. So this will we hope will be rectified this year. He has two Wainwright books, 2-Far Eastern Fells, and 6-North Western Fells, that can be completed with just one walk each and Dad has said he will endeavour to take us on these walks. And this he did. Book 2 was completed on 29th May when Gray Crag was summited. Book 6 was completed on 12th July when Rannerdale Knotts was summited.

Otherwise we look forward to just enjoying the wonderful countryside of Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire.
